Some snowmobilers venture off the beaten path, where extra flotation and quick agility are a must. Well, the B-TX LE is a purely mountain snowmobile with features geared toward backcountry riding at sea level: a 153-inch track with 1.75-inch intermediate bars, a medium ski spread and a low-altitude calibration. The SRViper B-TX LE rides on Yamaha’s exclusive mountain skis, and features a lightweight, mountain-tuned rear suspension frame and chassis. 40″ SRV-M front suspension

High performance 4-stroke Genesis engine

At the heart of every one of our light and bold SRVipers is the high-performance Genesis engine. From takeoff to top speed, this engine loves to show off its power. Your thumb operates a trio of 41mm throttle bodies that deliver solid performance from idle to full throttle.

Fuel injection

The high-performance Genesis engine features Yamaha’s advanced fuel injection system, which precisely controls the flow of fuel to the engine. Snowmobile enthusiasts will greatly appreciate the engine’s performance, as well as the acceleration that comes from the state-of-the-art electronic fuel injection system.

Device for reducing the engine braking effect

The Genesis high-performance engine features a unique device designed to reduce the effect of engine braking. When the throttle is released, this system injects a small volume of air into the fuel injection system, giving the rider the impression of “coasting”.

Legendary Yamaha Pulleys

The SRViper M-TX 162 SE is equipped with Yamaha’s legendary YVXC pulleys. They are, without question, the most reliable and robust clutch system in the industry. This YVXC system has evolved to work very effectively with the power of the Genesis 4-stroke.

Versatile magnesium chain guard

The SRViper M-TX 162 SE’s crankcase and chain cover both act as mounting points for the frame rails and engine oil tank. Because they are made of magnesium, the weight is reduced.

Hayes high performance braking system

The high-performance Hayes braking system of the SRViper M-TX 162 SE effectively brakes your efforts with a large 20 cm disc. The disc is mounted low on the drive shaft – you’ll feel the slowdown immediately when you pull the lever. The radial hydraulic brake master cylinder, inspired by the racing world, multiplies the force as needed, while providing excellent feel and precise control.
