2017 Yamaha RS Venture
The carbureted base model of the RSVenture has long enjoyed an excellent reputation as a two-up touring snowmobile, and at a great price. Less Weight
Since the introduction of Yamaha’s first four-stroke snowmobile, vehicle fuel efficiency has increased and weight has decreased. Yamaha has designed more four-stroke models than all other snowmobile manufacturers combined. Magnesium, titanium and aluminum components improve performance and reliability, and help eliminate weight.
Less Oil
Yamaha Genesis engines require only fuel. No oil is needed, except for the seasonal oil change. In a Yamaha four-stroke, the oil stays inside the engine to lubricate it. The 100% oil loss system of two-strokes, on the other hand, allows the lubricant to be exhausted, making these vehicles more expensive to operate.
Electric Starter
All Yamaha snowmobiles come with an electric starter as standard equipment. Shouldn’t this be the case with all the new, supposedly “hi-tech” snowmobiles of the 21st century?

Yamaha’s electronic throttle system provides optimal air-fuel mixing based on the position of the throttle body. The system controls the fuel flow to provide three distinct performance levels of the rider’s choice: sport, touring and basic.

Deltabox II Tilting Pilot Forward Chassis

Genesis 120FI Engine
The fuel-injected, high-torque, low-revving Genesis 120FI boasts a 6-horsepower gain and saves about 5 percent in fuel costs over the carbureted model. The large stator adds another 70 watts of power. The Genesis 120FI: more power, less fuel consumption, smiles all around!

Electric Starter Supplied As Standard

Motor Brake Effect Reduction Device
This feature allows a small amount of air to enter the fuel injection system when the throttle is released, giving the driver the feeling of “slipping” when he or she releases the throttle.
Numerical Indicators How Informative
The RS Venture GT is equipped with digital gauges that display a wide range of data. In addition to data such as speed, engine speed, distance traveled and time, the gauges also show oil and fuel levels and tell you how many miles you’ve driven since the fuel warning light came on!
