TVC training
The SnoScoot’s performance is enhanced by its direct drive ? a CVT with advantageous gear ratios from a highly durable rubber belt and a continuously variable transmission.
Hydraulic disc brake
The SnoScoot boasts an easy-to-operate Hayes hydraulic disc brake that brakes with confidence on the trail.
Electronic speed limiter
The 200 class engine is equipped with an electronic speed limiter that ensures that the maximum speed is never exceeded, thus providing long life and safe operation of the engine.
Transistorized ignition
The electronic transistor ignition helps to start without fuss and runs for endless hours without requiring maintenance.

Front suspension with delta arm
The double-wishbone front suspension offers 11.4 cm of travel with 77.5 cm of ski clearance, giving the SnoScoot a reassuringly stable and fun ride.
Long steering column with lifting block
The steering is arranged to provide a myriad of seating positions to accommodate riders of varying sizes. The handlebar riser block, with its competitive look, adds another touch to the overall ergonomics of the vehicle.
Torsion spring rear suspension
An adjustable preload torsion spring combines with the hydraulic amorto to perform the duties of the rear suspension track brilliantly, offering 11.4 cm of vertical travel.
NEW plastic skis
Yamaha has designed new lightweight plastic skis that are perfectly suited for the SnoScoot, keeping in mind the dimensions and mass of the chassis menu. These skis offer obedient steering, just the right amount of flotation for romping through soft snow.
Front suspension geometry
The stub axles and delta arms have been redesigned with geometry that helps reduce steering effort and provide precise handling.

TORS throttle override system
The throttle override system has been added to ensure that the engine speed returns to idle if anything interferes with the normal operation of the carburetor cable.
Heated handles, thumb warmers
Every parent knows that frostbite in the fingers is the end of the day for snowmobiling. Standard features on the SnoScoot include heated grips and a thumb warmer to help keep the young snowmobile enthusiast smiling.
Front and rear bumpers
These handy items are essential to help protect the frame from unexpected bumps and impacts. They are also very useful when it is necessary to move either the front or the rear section of the machine.
