BRP is proud to enhance the snowmobile trail experience with the introduction of a new 3XL size and a new orange color for the revolutionary OXYGEN helmet in 2020. Beyond its ease of use and light weight, the OXYGEN helmet has set a new standard of performance and functionality for snowmobilers who don’t mind cold temperatures.
The OXYGEN helmet was introduced last year in a limited version. Snowmobilers immediately embraced it for its ability to enhance all aspects of their on-snow experience, especially the most important criteria: vision. Power for the extra-large heated visor is supplied through the robust pivot contact system on the back of the helmet, with a magnetic eLinQ connector for simple and safe powering. With the remote control on the other end of the cable, the snowmobiler can easily adjust the heat inside the helmet. The amount of heat provided eliminates the need for an anti-fog mask, increasing the field of vision and making it easier to put the helmet on and off. The helmet has a solar anti-fog visor (available in three colors) hidden in a temperature controlled chamber. It is easy to use with gloves and can be lowered on sunny days.
MFORGE® technology is used to manufacture the shell, which is specially designed to offer less wind resistance and reduce neck fatigue. At the cutting edge of the materials industry, MFORGE technology is as light or even lighter than carbon fiber. It offers better impact and abrasion resistance and is manufactured using a VOC-free process, allowing the entire shell to be recycled.
Now offered in six sizes, from P to 3XL, OXYGEN helmets are available at Ski-Doo dealerships beginning in August 2019.
