Under the seat is the specialized cMotion suspension, recognized as the industry standard for 50-50 hybrid suspensions. As much a trail devourer designed for racing as it is a powder beast, the Backcountry X-RS is brimming with versatility and all-around capability thanks to the ultra-dynamic REV Gen4 platform, which is as maneuverable in powder as it is stable on groomed trails. Rugged features like the flatter, reinforced RS running boards and KYB Pro shocks allow the snowmobiler to dominate rough terrain without worry, and the long track provides a high degree of flotation when the adventure moves into the powder.

X-RS snowmobilers can combine the cMotion hybrid rear suspension and raised rail with a 146- or 154-inch track for impressive off-trail flotation and precision handling, no matter how deep the snow. It’s the perfect setup for the snowmobiler who can spend an hour dominating the bumps on the trail before deciding to completely change styles and slalom through a technical glade for a short hour.
