OVERVIEW  

MXZ riders are passionate, thrill-seeking drivers who don’t compromise. They demand a snowmobile that competently and accurately handles all trail conditions. X-RS snowmobilers take this attitude to a new level. They don’t compromise and are unable to settle for a snowmobile with average performance. Every ride is an opportunity to get the adrenaline pumping and experience the freedom and thrill they seek.  

The heart of the X-RS models vibrates to the rhythm of ultimate performance, and the MXZ focuses that energy on high performance trail riding. The MXZ X-RS is designed to put the rider ahead of every turn, every bump and every jump with racetrack-proven features, features that can dominate any challenge the most demanding snowmobilers have the courage to throw at them. Ready to master the most technical trails, the most brutal ditch runs and the most demanding cross-country races, the X-RS has the same high-performance attitude as its rider.  

The 2022 introduces revolutionary new technology to deliver a level of handling and control never before possible with Smart-Shox, which, combined with rMotion X and RAS X suspensions, allows snowmobilers to conquer the trails with unprecedented confidence and capability. The digital control reads data and adjusts the suspension in milliseconds to give the rider the advantage of plush comfort, high capacity over big bumps and avoidance of extreme compression. Not to mention that chassis dynamics such as roll, dive and pitch are also controlled to enhance cornering and provide a confident ride.  

Last year, the rMotion X, RAS X and Pilot X skis received rave reviews. The new travel and redesigned front and rear geometry – working hand in hand with the REV Gen4 platform – allow the most aggressive X-RS riders to assert their skills in big bumps with the confidence of being able to predict how the snowmobile will perform in any situation.  

At 43 inches (109.2 cm) wide, the wider front end allows the rider to take on every turn and curve at higher speeds, and with the generous freedom of the REV Gen4 platform, the rider will be able to take the path of their choice, without fear. At the front of the snowmobile, the rMotion X takes over with incredibly perfect weight transfer to provide high-precision control as the rider transitions from cornering to straight-line acceleration out of the tightest of curves. 

With the Rotax 850 E-TEC or Rotax 600R E-TEC and the ultra-dynamic pDrive pulley, the operator enjoys extremely responsive power, perfectly transferred to the 129″ track. The perfectly balanced powertrain at the center of the X-RS’ REV Gen4 platform responds instantly to the rider’s every command, allowing him to conserve energy for a long day on the trail.

Based on the agile, driver-focused REV Gen4 platform, it is offered with a choice of two powerful Rotax engines: the 600R E-TEC and the 850 E-TEC. With a perfectly balanced powertrain in the center of the chassis and an open cockpit, the driver has more freedom to choose his or her driving style.
