The Skandic lineup offers snowmobilers a choice of several advanced Rotax two- and four-stroke engines to power their vehicles. The Rotax engine lineup for the ultimate sport utility snowmobile includes the 600R E-TEC and the new 600 EFI two-stroke, and the four-stroke 900 ACE and 600 ACE.
Up front, the telescopic suspension combines with the wide, flat shell to float through the deepest powder with minimal resistance from the snow. The Pilot 7.4 deep-keel skis also increase flotation and provide surgical precision on tapped trails, high-precision off-piste handling and improved reverse performance.
At the rear, under the tunnel, is the SC-5U articulating suspension that has become a mainstay of the sport-utility snowmobile industry. The articulating rear section provides shorter trail feel and improves reversing in deep snow to a remarkable degree. Plus, it can be locked for towing, making the Skandic incredibly versatile.
Ski-Doo’s exclusive Multi-LinQ plate appears on the rear tunnel to make the Skandic the ultimate all-rounder. This functional gem has quickly become the sport-utility snowmobiler’s best friend because of the unprecedented level of functionality it provides.
