This is what two up riding is all about, the freedom of the outdoors and the memories you can share afterwards. The Grand Touring makes this easy. Ski-Doo Grand Touring sleds are built to share that playful feeling that winter worshippers chase, the idea that more is merrier. Which is why the Grand Touring has always been the premier 2-up riding experience on snow – Ski-Doo engineers and designers have taken the time to understand what these riders want and then delivered the perfect ride for both driver and passenger.
In 2024 there are some major changes for the Grand Touring crowd as LE models move onto the REV Gen5 wide platform with its handsome new athletic look that also brings some big improvements. The REV Gen5 platform retains the advanced architecture and open cockpit design of its predecessor with a centrally balanced engine that allows riders to interpret terrain confidently knowing the sled will immediately respond to their input. The new wider design to accommodate 4-stroke power plants offers better wind protection that riders and passengers will appreciate along with Premium LED lighting to extend riding days with much better night time vision. Another benefit is the reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH). With the move to the REV Gen5, those choosing the Luxury package also get the 10.25” Color
Touchscreen Display, a pre-studded track, Pilot TX skis, adjustable riser and a rich Terra Green color.
Keeping in mind the 2-up experience is as much about the passenger as it is the pilot, the Ski-Doo team does more than just add an extra seat. They listen to true two-up riders and passengers to make sure the driver and passenger are located in the best spot possible, that wind protection is optimized and that even the smallest details are attended to.
The LE models feature the latest, greatest rMotionX rear and RAS X front suspensions to smooth their ride further and up their handling game. They also feature a very functional Air Controlled Suspension (ACS) that allows fast adjustments, on the fly or parked, for riding one up or two up.
Industry-leading Rotax 4-stroke engine options, including the 900 ACE Turbo R, 900 ACE Turbo and ACE 900, let buyers find their perfect balance between performance and economy for the ultimate fun factor. All include the iTC throttle that lets riders choose between Eco, Standard and Sport modes.
Creature comforts are a Grand Touring forte as these models have always pampered their riders. Things like a SilentDrive™ track drive system, heated seats (LE models) and electrical outlets for heated gear lets riders fully immerse themselves in the winter experience. Plentiful storage courtesy of the exclusive LinQ accessory system lets riders turn a Friday night sunset cruise into a full-blown weekend getaway if they so choose. There’s truly no mile on snow that can’t be enjoyed from the seat of a Grand Touring.
The 2024 also brings something else – Introducing a completely new model designed specifically for Uncharted Society Experience centers, the Grand Touring Electric. This snowmobile includes many of the creature comforts and two-up riding necessities of the ICE powered Grand Touring’s and is the first in a line of snowmobiles powered by proprietary Rotax ePower technology. The Grand Touring Electric will allow commercial operators to offer customers a zero emissions experience and potentially access eco-sensitive environments. These snowmobiles are designed to be efficient and affordable for commercial operators and will only be available to Uncharted Society Experience centers where a 50 km loop or less is used.
