2017 Ski-Doo Renegade X 850

Snowmobilers tell us: versatility is one of the key benefits of Renegade models – they provide impressive precision and ease of riding, no matter the wide variety of conditions and riding styles. On the trail, off-road, in the bumps or on smooth, busy trails: the new 2017 Renegade X with the new Rotax 850 E-TEC engine takes these characteristics to the next level.

It owes its success in large part to a new ergonomic package that allows the driver to drive exactly the way he or she wants to, in a natural and comfortable manner. The design of the 4th generation REV platform is driver-centric – very narrow with a beveled tunnel, flat running boards, new open toe box and innovative Ergo-Step side panels. The panels are designed to take all driving positions naturally, and to make it easy to transition from one position to another. In addition, the sportier Renegade X enthusiasts will love the new more aggressive forward stance (and the new adjustable forward elevation block offered with the X package).

And don’t forget the RAS 3 front suspension with improved geometry and the new dual-pivot steering system (only on the X package), which is even better synchronized with the rMotion rear suspension, especially in difficult conditions, to provide simply unbeatable precision.

The 850 E-TEC engine is a technological success. It delivers 10 more horsepower and 30% faster response on the same amount of fuel and 30% less oil than the 800R E-TEC engine. BRP focused the design of the 4th generation REV platform on the rider.
