The 2024 Backcountry is going to elevate their game and let them enjoy the very best winter has to offer with improvements and features directed squarely at making the best 50/50 sled even better – so they can explore more.
The list of what’s new for 2024 is impressive, starting with REV Gen5 platform, its roomy open cockpit allows riders to control the ride as effortlessly or aggressively as they’d like making easy transitions from sitting, to standing, to wrong foot forward carving, it all flows naturally. With a centrally balanced engine, the responsiveness to a rider’s input makes handling intuitive and easy both on and off trail. The LED lighting is a real boost for those days when they lost track of time while exploring, and the new one-piece side panels are lighter and tighter for those off trail excursions.
An all-new design cMotion X is part of the more fun and more precise equation as it strikes a perfect balance of fun and control. It provides more weight transfer to lift the front end when a rider wants both on and off trail, while still providing great trail cornering performance. In addition, it’s lighter with more travel (+19mm) for added comfort and capacity. The other part
of the equation is rack steering on the X and X-RS models that provides even better tracking and control on the trail. Rail mounted Ice Scratchers come standard for those icy mornings or low snow conditions and X-RS models will have a rail reinforcement.
The standard 1.6-inch (4-cm) track lug offers exceptional traction on the trails, and ample flotation for carving in the deep. The rider-inspired adjustable ski stance and RAS X front suspension allow for easy off-trail maneuverability in its narrow configuration, while the more planted wide stance inspires confidence in nearly any trail terrain.
Powered by either the Rotax 850 E-TEC, 600R E-TEC or the 600 EFI, there are three lightweight 2-stroke engine options to please this crowd. Each offer instant throttle response, class leading power and deliver industry-leading efficiency for long-lasting, adrenaline-filled adventures.
With awesome ability to take on a massive amount of terrain, winter expands with the 2024 Backcountry.
