Style with a utilitarian taste

This is a modern, rugged snowmobile. With increased ventilation to keep what’s under the hood cool and sleek lines that are less likely to crack, the VK Pro II is built to deliver year after year.

NEW electric power steering

Yamaha’s lightweight, high-tech DAE requires no fluids or heavy pumps. It’s a dynamic system that monitors vehicle speed, engine speed, and rider directional input to calculate the optimal steering assist. Thus, at low speeds, the assistance increases, and at high speeds, it decreases. The DAE accomplishes a few things: First, it reduces the effort required to steer the snowmobile. Second, it helps limit the feedback that goes through the skis. And since the steering effort is less demanding, you can install different skis and slides without affecting the steering. A judicious combination of the DAE, suspension geometry, skis and slides allow this model to negotiate turns like a virtuoso without requiring too much effort.

Super-functional mirrors

Large mirrors allow you to see what’s around you. The mirrors are attached to the inner portion of the windshield, protecting them from damage.

Numerical indicators

An easy-to-read digital instrument panel keeps the engine and other functions in sight, while featuring an hour meter, odometers, clock and more!

Large fuel tank

Enjoy a great autonomy thanks to this cavernous gas tank. Indeed, this tank has a volume of almost 44 liters.

Pilot’s seat

The VK Pro II’s seat was designed specifically for rider comfort and convenience at all times. The rider is well positioned to access the controls and can better move around in the seat during rides and when riding the snowmobile.

Very large luggage rack

Carrying large loads is one of the main advantages of the VK Pro II. The large rear rack is extremely practical for both work and play.

PERFORMANCE

Three-speed transmission

The HI/LO transmission with reverse is your most valuable tool on the job site or on the trail. Just flip the switch and it’s done!

Clutch operated directly from the crankshaft

The Genesis 1049’s primary pulley is mounted directly on the crankshaft. This allows the engine to be mounted lower in the chassis and uses fewer parts to centralize and reduce mass. The result? Improved handling and durability!

High lift skis, made of PEhpm

The wide skis improve flotation when venturing off-piste, while their special keel offers predictable handling and easy steering.

Heavy-duty wrap-around bumper

In addition to accentuating the utilitarian look, a wrap-around bumper protects you from obstacles encountered during tough days on the trail.

MANIABILITY

ProComfort Suspension

This fully-coupled, dual-shock suspension features a simple, effective torsion spring that can be easily adjusted with a small lever to match the suspension to the number of occupants or the load. In addition, the 40mm high-pressure gas shock offers exceptional control, resistance to sagging and unmatched utility.

Wide Cobra Camoplast track with 1.5″ bars

The main objective of the 20 x 154 x 1.5 inch Cobra track is to maximize the contribution of the surrounding snow by providing confidence-inspiring flotation in deep snow, as well as great traction. The 1.5″ bars are most useful at low speeds or when you want to pull a load, so they’re just right for this utility snowmobile.

Gull-wing front suspension

The unique curved front suspension provides increased ground clearance, allowing you to avoid more obstacles on or off the trail when it’s hard to see what’s under the snow.

KYB gas cell dampers

The spring-loaded front shocks are calibrated specifically for pulling heavy loads and off-trail riding, while providing comfortable and predictable performance on the trail.

CONFORT

Windshield offering great protection

The high, wide windshield provides excellent protection from the elements and obstacles. This accessory has been wind-tunnel tested to reduce harmful wind vortices and provide great comfort for the rider and passenger.

Electric starter supplied as standard

Turn the key to start! It’s so easy!

Drawbar delivered as standard

The standard drawbar is ready to pull additional equipment and comes in handy for less strenuous tasks.

Cavernous storage under the seat

With its hinged flip-up seat, the VK Pro II is a true utility vehicle. The large storage space under the seat also hides a tool kit and can accommodate a lot of gear.

Raised passenger seat

The wide, comfortable two-person seat is comfortable for both occupants and even has a built-in backrest!
