2017 Arctic Cat Pantera is the sportiest, most comfortable snowmobile ever made, for both solo and two-up riding. On the model, a 16.3-liter (4.3 U.S. gal.) auxiliary fuel tank connects directly to the 40.5-liter (10.7 U.S. gal.) main tank, allowing you to ride this snowmobile, equipped with an ultra-efficient 135-hp C-TEC4® high-output engine, for long distances between fill-ups (more than 320 kilometers or 200 miles). It has all the amenities like heated seats, hand warmers and plenty of storage space for your gear. When everyone else has to turn around, you can keep going straight ahead.

Protour Chassis
The ProTour chassis is the lightest, strongest and most efficient touring chassis in Arctic Cat history. Both driver and passenger enjoy a neutral driving position, ideal for long-distance comfort. This chassis incorporates aluminum extrusions, stampings and forgings or castings. It’s a design that sets the standard for high-tech construction. The forged steering housing unites many of the chassis’ load-bearing components.

Protour WT Chassis
And this is the ProTour WT chassis. It’s the all-new platform for what could be the most functional snowmobile lineup the world has ever seen. The ProTour WT is designed for our 20″ wide track. Whether you’re towing or hiking, there’s never been a chassis that performs like this.

Twin Spar Chassis
The Lynx 2000 LT is built on a Twin Spar frame that includes two triangulated compartmentalized aluminum spars with steering supports. Tunnel spars are integrated to provide extreme rigidity while riding. In addition, its self-tapping rivets ensure the rigidity of the joints and a robustness to the whole.

Arctic Race Suspension
The front suspension geometry directs loads toward the center of the chassis. This configuration makes the front end look as dynamic as it handles. The lightweight forged aluminum one-piece rod is designed to strengthen the assembly. Ball joints reduce drag and create improved rider feedback. This design makes these snowmobiles highly maneuverable in all terrain conditions.

AWS VII Front Suspension
The Lynx 2000 LT features Arctic Cat’s legendary AWS VII front suspension. A stabilizer bar and twin-tube shocks give you the handling and control you’re looking for, while reducing the effort and fatigue of driving, hour after hour, mile after mile.

Slide-Action Rear Suspension
The SLIDE-ACTION rear suspension maintains a free-acting front arm while adjusting to torque through jumps, steep turns and acceleration. When the rear transfer blocks are engaged, the front arm follows the shock, keeping your skis firmly planted. It’s the only suspension to feature a “U” shaped slot that fits over a fixed shaft to allow for a crucial 0.5″ of glide. This important detail controls ski lift during acceleration.

10/8 Skis
Narrower adjustable ski spacing, from 37.5 to 43.5 inches, improves off-trail maneuverability. The new 10/8 skis are 10″ at the widest part and 8″ at the narrowest part. The curved tips allow you to ride in deep snow without sinking.

Embrayage Team

Wide Range 3 (WR3) transmission with dynamic shifter
You already have the power and strength. Now you’ve got the Wide Range 3 system with dynamic control. No one goes this low. Clutch in very low gear and you take off without track slip. A gear ratio this low has never been seen before. When you venture into deeper snow, the risk of getting stuck is virtually zero. Use the full power of the 135 hp class with the right gear ratio for the snow conditions.

Arctic Drive System
The Arctic Drive system includes a lightweight magnesium chain case. For 2016, we incorporated a large TEAM Rapid Reaction BOSS driven pulley and a TEAM Rapid Response drive pulley.

ACT Diamond Direct Drivemd
The heavy-duty ACT Diamond Direct Drive gearing system reduces track speed upon clutch engagement without compromising top speed. This allows for a smooth transfer of power from the engine to the track.

The union of performance and touring. First, there’s the quiet, low-emission four-stroke engine, a 370.8 cm (146″) track, a rugged tunnel ideal for two-up touring, and plenty of amenities and comfort. It’s not a touring model if you can’t carry everything you need. No problem, you can fit everything in the rear storage compartment. Plus, the electric starter ensures that all your rides start off on a good note.

3000 C-TEC4 Engine
An engine that combines this much power with C-TEC4 clean technology and incredible fuel efficiency deserves to be part of the Arctic Cat engine lineup. This 700cc four-stroke engine, in the 65hp class, is lightweight and compact. With electronic fuel injection, throttle response is immediate.

This top-of-the-line touring snowmobile is based on the ProTour.TM chassis. Notable features include lockable and removable rear storage compartments, an extra-high windshield with mirrors, a painted tunnel and a deluxe digital instrument panel. This model also features a 16.3 liter (4.3 US gal) auxiliary fuel tank located just behind the passenger seat. This adds to the 40.5 liter (10.7 US gal.) main tank to give you a range of over 322 kilometers (200 miles).

The 1049cc three-cylinder engine is a true powerhouse in the 135hp class. This C-TEC4 offers advanced intake, exhaust, lubrication and cooling systems. The Pantera also features a large front-mounted radiator with a heat exchanger. Engine cooling is excellent, especially at low speeds when you’re taking in the scenery.

Take a closer look. The XT is based on the ProTour WT chassis. It’s a big, three-passenger touring snowmobile made to take on the entire icy world. The rear storage compartment and detachable bags make it the perfect touring snowmobile. Simple, efficient and no fuss.
