Racing season is just around the corner and Team Arctic will continue to run the R-SX Procross platform with rear suspension improvements.
In model year 2023, Team Arctic upgraded the R-SX 136 slide action suspension with new shock and pull rod geometry to improve bottom out resistance. These upgrades allowed the rider to feel in more control through demanding Snocross conditions.
For model year 2024, Team Arctic took it one step further to improve upon this championship-winning rear suspension by introducing a revised rear suspension that pulls up geometry aspects from the race-proven CATALYST R-XC rear suspension. One of the biggest aspects racers will notice and feel on the racetrack is the rearward movement of the rear arm in the chassis. This change allows them to turn without sacrificing power, making the rear arm more active and easier to fine tune. Additionally, improved track tension provides a more consistent response through travel. Racers will be able to charge through the rhythm sections faster, safer, and more controlled compared to any previous SX rear suspension. Team Arctic has also adjusted the shock valving for both front and rear shocks to complement the geometry change.
With this updated suspension, racers and teams will see durability improvements on rails and tracks. This design does a better job at keeping the track on the ground and reducing spinning, which results in faster cornering speeds and hole shots.
