Valcourt, Quebec, November 17, 2020 – BRP, the world leader in powersports vehicles, propulsion systems and boats, has announced a new application: BRP GO! designed to improve the way snowmobilers interact with their community while riding in selected areas of Canada and the United States.
Designed for Apple and Google devices, the new app offers many benefits to Ski-Doo and other snowmobilers, including navigation of snowmobile trails to ensure snowmobiler safety. It also offers specific information about the community (for example, the location of other snowmobilers so you know where your friends and family are at all times).
The app also provides online and offline information for navigation, even in the face of weak cellular signals. The app is currently available to U.S. and Canadian Ski-Doo riders in Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Wisconsin, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Manitoba, New Brunswick and Saskatchewan. In the future, it is expected to expand to other states, provinces and territories in North America.
For areas not currently covered, the application will allow Ski-Doo users to mirror the application on the console and create an account, invite friends, use the area exploration mode (without trails) and view topographical information on the map, as well as locate their GPS position and view their ride statistics.
