BRP introduces a new snowmobile handguard system with integrated LED signaling function that, in addition to featuring a unique look, can be used to signal the presence of a group to other snowmobilers on the trail. The system makes it possible to pass other vehicles safely, with both hands on the handlebars, thanks to an LED system designed to inform other users of what’s ahead, without having to wave with the hands. The system is particularly handy on narrow, windy trails, as it allows the driver to concentrate on driving, while enjoying the peace of mind of knowing that all trail users will be well informed and safe.

A four-mode switch mounted on the dash allows you to change the color on the left hand guard. By default, white shows the unique Ski-Doo look, amber means “Caution – snowmobilers behind” and green means “Last snowmobile in group” or “Snowmobiler alone”. The driver can also activate two yellow flashing lights to indicate “Attention, situation dangereuse” or “Attention – motoneige à l’arrêt”.

The fully integrated system is easily installed on Ski-Doo models with REV Gen5 and REV Gen4 platforms using the 860202740 wire harness. BRP is committed to improving snowmobiler safety, and by 2025 will introduce signaling systems for all Ski-Doo models.
