Sturtevant, Wisconsin, November 17, 2016 – BRP (TSX:DOO) today marked the opening of its state-of-the-art technical training institute located at its manufacturing facility in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. The New BRP Training Institute will train dealers and their employees in the maintenance and repair of all BRP vehicles, engines and accessories.

“BRP’s seven product lines are sold in more than 100 countries through 4,200 dealerships,” said Soucy. “We are currently leading a series of global initiatives to make BRP the reference in the powersports industry. This training institute, in addition to our four other institutes around the world, is an investment in improving the training of our U.S. network to provide impeccable customer service,” he added.

“We thank the Village of Sturtevant and the Racine County Economic Development Corporation for their support in establishing this world-class training institute, which has resulted in the creation of over 20 full-time positions. The New BRP Training Institute will attract approximately 500 visitors per year to the region,” said Villemure. “The Evinrude brand has a long history in southeastern Wisconsin and BRP is very excited to begin this new chapter,” he added.
