Ski-doo 2023 New Technologies. The Ski-Doo 2023 model lineup introduces serious enhancements to what is already the most comprehensive offering in the industry – a lineup with every model in every segment leading its class.

Maintaining an industry-leading position requires constant innovation and ingenuity by always listening to the needs of snowmobilers and anticipating their future needs. For 2023, Ski-Doo is introducing a new platform for deep snow and trail riders, one that again sets the industry standard and exceeds customer expectations with improved performance, functionality and durability.

And the new products aren’t limited to seasoned snowmobilers. Some new engine and chassis technologies are aimed directly at younger, smaller riders and those new to the sport – giving them a truly superior snowmobiling experience on their first rides.

Ski-doo 2023 New Technologies New REV Gen5 platforms designed specifically for deep snow and trails

REV Gen5 Deep Snow Platform: If you want to offer even more precision, stability and predictability to tackle the most technical terrain with agility, it takes even more intense and focused effort – and that’s exactly what the Ski-Doo team did when they completely redesigned the new REV Gen5 Deep Snow Platform. A sleek, compact and decidedly professional look – but professional and refined, with a high-end style and finish that stands out from the industrial-looking square and gray designs. The ride feel matches the compact, lightweight and athletic appearance – you know it will take you places you’ve never been, with a sense of confidence and incredible capability.

Ski-doo 2023 New Technologies

The new platform is 8 cm (3.1 in.) narrower at the running boards, and the chassis is even smaller, especially the side panels, to improve hillside driving and reduce friction, among other things.

We reduced weight by nearly 16 lbs by carefully examining every system and part to eliminate every possible ounce, while ensuring that strength and durability are maintained. Suspension, tracks, tunnels and body parts such as LED headlights are examples of the items that were redesigned.

The fresh air intake has been redesigned to better prevent snow intrusion.

Strength and durability have also been improved to give snowmobilers more miles for less money, thanks to a fourth engine mount and a new HVAC cooling system that significantly increases belt life. The HVAC system allows air to flow in and out independently of the air under the hood – using cooler outside air – while preventing snow intrusion.

Cold air is drawn in from the side panel, not from inside the shell.

Access to parts such as the oil and coolant tanks has been redesigned for easier maintenance. To make track changes faster and easier, a new drive axle and track housing module allows the axle to be changed without removing the lower sprocket – simply slide the axle on after the brake disc has been removed.

Ski-doo 2023 New Technologies tMotion X

The new, lighter tMotion X has been completely redesigned for 2023, with 90 percent new parts. Overall, it’s lost 2.75 pounds (1.25 kg) while increasing its capabilities with new geometry, increased travel and calibration for increased stability and confidence. A longer front arm and repositioned rear arm better control weight transfer, which means your skis stay flatter to give you more stability on technical terrain. These changes also increase mogul capability by 25mm. And the pivoting rear arm again this year makes it easier to tilt the vehicle for optimal turning and slalom in powder fields.

Ski-doo 2023 New Technologies

The tMotion X uses stronger, lighter, rubber-free rear wheels, a new aluminum rear axle and a unique new rear arm support that eliminates the need for an axle and makes maintenance easier.

tMotion XT (Expert package only)

The Summit X with Expert Package will feature a tMotion XT fixed rear arm with a new PowderMax X-Light track with full-width stalks for riders willing to sacrifice a little bit of ease of lean for an even more stable and predictable ride on particularly technical terrain – especially on mountainsides.

Ski-doo 2023 New Technologies

The tMotion XT with fixed rear arm has the same advantages as the tMotion, and is offered with an adjustable limiter belt which, for 2023, increases the adjustment range (50 mm instead of 30 mm).

New 3.0″ PowderMax X-Light track with FlexEdge

This new track is 4 lbs. lighter than the previous version, improving track speed and increasing traction. It features a reworked profile that extends to the edges to make the most of its 16″ width.

Ski-doo 2023 New Technologies New 3.0″ PowderMax X-Light Track (with full width rods)

This new track is 2.6 lbs. lighter than the FlexEdge on the REV Gen4 and also provides improved track speed and increased traction. It features a new profile with lugs that go all the way to the edges, and it uses full-width rods to increase the precision, stability and predictability of the Expert package.

New Pilot DS 4 skis

The new Pilot DS 4 skis offer more control in hard-packed snow and powder thanks to a 35mm forward keel and a redesigned shape to increase lift in the tail. The driver gets better stability on the side of the mountain with a ski that doesn’t lift and stays flat, and superior stability on packed snow with a ski that doesn’t wobble. The new design also utilizes a new rubber stop with improved durability and eliminates removable ski tips.

Adjustable brake levers

The Summit X models with Expert and Freeride packages will feature a new tool-less adjustable brake lever to allow riders to find the ideal position for their riding style.

MXZ Neo and Summit Neo models

Here are two new models with variations of the Rotax 600 EFI engine – one with 40 hp, and the other with 55 hp. With the exception of the exhaust and engine calibration, these two variations are identical to the base 600 EFI engine.

Perfectly sized ergonomics

Neo models are designed to provide a first class riding experience right from the start, right down to the smallest detail. Most of the ergonomic elements have been reduced to better suit younger or smaller riders, and to provide novices with the ideal vehicle to develop their skills. With a lower seat, narrower handlebars and shorter throttle, these models are designed to inspire rider confidence.

Neo rear suspension

The new rear suspension geometry features a single shock absorber design that matches the light and fun personality of the Neo models, while providing a smooth, comfortable and capable ride.
