Valcourt, Quebec, November 16, 2021 – In its inaugural season, the Ski-Doo P.A.S.S. program fundraising has supported more than 100 snowmobile organization projects in North America with over $580,000.

With over 200 project funding requests submitted in just two months, the response from the snowmobile community has been phenomenal. Ski-Doo and its dealer network have teamed up to financially support these hard-working volunteer organizations.

“With the help of our great dealers, the Ski-Doo P.A.S.S. financing program has exceeded all expectations,” said Annick Lauzon, Marketing Manager, Sea-Doo and Ski-Doo. “We are very pleased to help these passionate organizations continue their efforts to improve trails and infrastructure for all snowmobilers in North America,” she added.

Each organization could receive up to $5,000 in grant funding if their project application was successful. The selected projects span the continent from Nova Scotia to Alaska.

Alaska Safe Riders, another grantee this season, is an organization that promotes the use of snowmobiles and off-road vehicles by enthusiasts across the state. It offers riding lessons and backcountry safety seminars, provides free helmets to riders, and much more.

“Alaska Safe Riders is very much looking forward to receiving the Ski-Doo P.A.S.S. grant. It will go a long way toward making Alaska a safer place to snowmobile,” said Mike Buck, association director.

“This support will be used to make our trail system safer, provide the best visibility for all snowmobilers, and ensure the safety of our groomer operators,” said Tina Cock-Crawford, president of the Dalhousie Mountain Snowmobile Club in Nova Scotia. “We thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” she added.

With the enthusiasm of organizations and riders like these, the future of the sport of snowmobiling remains bright. Stay tuned to Ski-Doo.com and SkiDoo’s social media channels to follow the progress of Ski-Doo P.A.S. projects later in the 2021-22 snowmobile season.
